LOBSTER FEED PROCEEDS GO TO...

At the Windsor Rotary Community Foundation Lobster Feed, there is a great Lobster Dinner (chicken optional), and live and silent auctions. Hundreds of Rotarians and supporters join to feast, party, dance, and share friendships.

This year's Lobster Feed is dedicated primarily to the following causes:

  • Windsor Middle School Theater Upgrade:  New curtains, enhanced lighting, and a new sound system.  All WMS performing arts use this space, including bands, drama and dance groups, and Windsor Academy for the Arts.
  •  Windsor High School Project Grad:  This event provides a safe and sober all night dance and party experience for seniors after their Graduation Day glory.
  • New band instruments for WMS:  This is our Fund-A-Need project for 2019.  Many current instruments are old and need repair. New instruments will be used by students year after year. Windsor Middle School Band is home to about 100 NEW band students each year.
  • Choices Program:  This is a national program, staffed locally Windsor Rotarians and others.  High school freshman are shown how to make choices to finish high school, graduate, and achieve success.

Funds left over after the primary causes are used for college scholarships and other Windsor Community projects.
